Privacy Policy

We believe privacy policies should be understandable. Here's what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

Last updated July 23, 2026. SpeechPen is operated by 21x20 Media, Inc.

What We Collect

Your email address

We collect your email address when you join the waitlist, save your work, make a purchase, request an emailed copy of your speech, or contact SpeechPen.

We use your email only to provide and support the service. We do not sell your email address or share it for third-party marketing.

Your speech and interview responses

SpeechPen stores the interview answers, drafts, and speech content you create so your workspace functions properly.

To generate, improve, and review your speech, we securely send the information needed to Anthropic's commercial API. According to Anthropic, commercial API inputs and outputs are not used to train its AI models by default and are ordinarily retained for no more than 30 days, subject to limited legal and security exceptions. SpeechPen does not use your speeches or personal information to train its own AI models.

For more information, see Anthropic's Training Policy and Retention Policy.

Human Review

If you purchase Human Review, your selected draft, supporting drafts, optional editor notes, and checkout email are securely shared with the designated SpeechPen review team so the service can be completed. Those working copies may be retained only as long as needed to complete the review, provide customer support, or resolve legitimate service issues.

Payment information

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. SpeechPen never receives or stores your credit card number or other payment credentials. SpeechPen receives transaction details needed to provide and support your purchase, such as your checkout email, amount, date, and payment status.

Support requests

If you contact SpeechPen for help with a speech, Human Review, billing question, privacy request, duplicate charge, or another support issue, we collect the information you provide so we can investigate and respond.

Your request is securely emailed to the SpeechPen support team rather than stored in the SpeechPen application database. Support copies are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the issue, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect the service.

Advertising analytics

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's server-side Conversions API to understand how well our advertising performs, including page views, sign-ups, checkouts, and purchases.

Meta may use cookies or browser identifiers for this measurement. When available, our integration sends Meta's Limited Data Use flag unless that protection has been intentionally disabled.

Cookies and browser storage

SpeechPen uses a session cookie to keep your workspace connected to your browser while you use the site.

Your browser may also store limited information, such as how you found SpeechPen and whether this browser has previously created a project. Your speech is never stored in browser storage.

If Google Sign-In is available, Google's sign-in service processes that request. Email sign-in remains available as an alternative.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the SpeechPen application data we control through our Contact Support form. Select “Privacy or data deletion request.”

We will respond to verified requests and remove eligible application data within 30 days. We may retain records reasonably necessary for payment processing, Human Review, customer support, disputes, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or security.

Copies previously sent to payment providers, designated reviewers, or the SpeechPen support inbox are not part of the automated application-data deletion and may remain where reasonably necessary for those purposes.
